South Carolina junior catcher Grayson Greiner added second-team All-America honors as announced by Perfect Game on Tuesday.
Greiner also earned second-team honors last week from Baseball America.
Greiner, a 3rd round MLB Draft pick by the Tigers, played in 60 games with 58 starts, hit .311 (66-for-212) with 39 runs scored, 50 RBI, 13 doubles and eight homers, also a .389 on-base percentage and a .486 slugging mark.
He hit a team-best .327 (37-for-113) in league games with four homers and 24 RBI vs. SEC teams. His career .994 fielding percentage is the best percentage by a Gamecock catcher in school history (1168 PO, 97 A, 7 E).

... South Carolina right-handed pitcher Joel Seddon earned second-team All-America honors as announced by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association last week.
Seddon, an 11th round MLB Draft pick by the Athletics, went 3-2 with 14 saves and a 1.66 ERA in 48.2 innings with 59 strikeouts. In 26 relief appearances, he allowed just five runs, four earned. Opponents hit .213 against him.
