Bruce Ellington scored two touchdowns Saturday night with the San Francisco 49ers.
The former South Carolina star caught an 8-yard touchdown pass from Colin Kaepernick early in the second quarter that put the Niners up 21-0 against San Diego, then ran for a 1-yard score in the waning moments before leaving with a hamstring injury.
The Chargers rallied to earn a 38-35 victory in overtime.
Ellington on the season has three total touchdowns.
He was a fourth-round selections (106th overall) by the 49ers in this past year’s NFL Draft.
