South Carolina junior defensive end Jadeveon Clowney earned a spot on the Walter Camp All-America second team, it was announced on Thursday.
Clowney, a 6-foot-6, 274-pounder from Rock Hill, was named first-team All-SEC by the Associated Press and the SEC coaches earlier in the week.
A Rotary Lombardi Award semifinalist, Clowney finished the regular season with 10.5 tackles for loss and had 35 tackles on the year to go along with a forced fumble, a pair of pass breakups, three sacks and eight quarterback hurries.
He was a unanimous first-team All-American in 2012 and the winner of the Hendricks Award as the nation’s outstanding defensive end.
