Marcus Lattimore raised his stock with the national Heisman pundits after his 176-yard, one-touchdown performance in the win over Georgia.

The HeismanPundit.com Heisman Watch has Lattimore fourth on its season-to-date list behind quarterbacks Andrew Luck (Stanford), Kellen Moore (Boise State), Landry Jones (Okla.). This is the site operator's "personal list of the players who currently stand the best chance of actually winning the Heisman, based on season-long projections (rather than the current prevailing wind)."
According to the Web site, Lattimore "passed an early-season test, cruising to 176 yards and a TD against Georgia. The next four games are an opportunity to pile up yardage."
Lattimore also is fourth in the Heismanpundit.com Heisman Poll, comprised of voting by 13 national media members.
Rivals.com ranks Lattimore second among Heisman candidates, behind Baylor quarterback Robert Griffin. "Any team with a running back of Lattimore's caliber should be a running team," Rivals wrote.
In ESPN's Heisman Watch, Lattimore is fourth on the season, also behind Luck, Moore and Jones.
ESPN's "Stats & Info" blog ranked Lattimore's Week 2 performance against Georgia the best of the Heisman hopefuls. His effort "pushed him to the top of the Heisman race," the blog wrote.
Lattimore is sixth in the CBS Sports projections behind Luck, Moore, Jones, Griffin and Alabama running back Trent Richardson.
