South Carolina’s Wednesday baseball game against Kentucky at the SEC tournament in Hoover, Ala., will start later than expected, assuming the weather cooperates.
Mississippi State vs. Georgia, originally scheduled to be played Tuesday, has been moved to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday because of rain.
The Gamecocks and Wildcats will begin 30 minutes after the conclusion of the battle of the Bulldogs, or approximately 2 p.m. The game will be televised on SEC Network.
Those start times are contingent on the rain holding off Wednesday. There’s an 80 percent chance of rain in the Hoover area overnight that turns to 40 percent during the day.
The SEC tournament is played at Hoover Metropolitan Stadium.
