Chad Holbrook didn’t speak the day after he resigned as head coach of South Carolina baseball.
But he did say something.
The coach who spent much of the latter part of his tenure under fire posted a photo to his Instagram, one harkening back to better times. It showed his sons, Cooper and Reece, one in an oversized Holbrook jersey, on the field at Rosenblatt Stadium after the Gamecocks won the 2010 national championship.
The caption: “Blessed!.”
Never miss a local story.
Holbrook was USC’s coach for five seasons after getting promoted to replace Ray Tanner.
