Grayson Greiner is among the South Carolina baseball signees whose instate teams are still alive and battling for a state championship.
The power-hitting senior catcher for the Blythewood Bengals is hitting .516 on the season (27 games) with 14 home runs and 37 RBIs.
He's also done his share of pitching this year, starting two games down the stretch, including Wednesday's playoff win over J.L. Mann. In that game he threw six innings, hit a two-run home run and caught the final inning.
Greiner is 7-0 on the year and has three saves, with five of those wins coming in relief. He has a 0.72 ERA to go along with 43 strikeouts in just under 39 innnings pitched.
Greiner (6-5, 215) is only planning to catch at the next level. Click here to read our previous feature on him.
