Webb made 39 appearances in 2012, which was the second most in school history for a single season. He had a 6-1 record, a 1.56 ERA and three saves with 58 strikeouts in 572/3 innings pitched. Opponents hit .211 against him. Thirty times in 39 appearances, the opponent failed to score against him. He factored in 28 of Carolina’s 49 wins last season.
