South Carolina stayed put at No. 15 in the latest Baseball America Top 25, released Monday.

The Gamecocks (33-12) were 2-2 overall last week, defeated then-No. 2 LSU two games out of three and dropping a midweek game to Gardner-Webb. The Tigers (39-6) were also 2-2 last week and dropped one spot to No. 3.

The Gamecocks' foe for this weekend, Vanderbilt (39-6), moved up to No. 2 after a perfect 4-0 last week.

South Carolina's RPI is No. 8 in the country.

Also Monday, USC pitcher Jack Wynkoop earned SEC Freshman of the Week honors for the second-straight week. Wynkoop fired seven shutout innings in the win over LSU on Sunday, giving up five hits and not allowing a runner to get past second base.

He is now 6-2 on the year with a 2.66 ERA in 47.1 innings.
