The South Carolina baseball team, which will attempt to reach the College World Series for the fourth time in five season in 2014, announced its schedule Monday.

The Gamecocks will play 37 of its 56 games at home, with 19 of the games coming against teams that reached the 2013 NCAA tournament. The season opens Feb. 14 at Carolina Stadium with the start of a three-game series against Bucknell, a team they last faced in the 2010 NCAA tournament.

USC and Clemson will meet for a fifth consecutive year in a three-game configuration at three different ballparks. The series opens in Columbia on Feb. 28 and shifts the next day to Fluor Field, home of the Greenville Drive, a minor league affiliate of the Boston Red Sox. It concludes March 2 at Doug Kingsmore Stadium in Clemson.

The 30-game SEC schedule begins Mar. 14, with USC hosting Ole Miss in the Rebels' first visit to Columbia since the 2010 season. USC also hosts Tennessee (Mar. 28-Mar. 30), Florida (April 11-13), Alabama (April 25-27) and Missouri (May 9-11). The SEC road series are Kentucky (Mar. 21-23), Arkansas (April 4-6), Auburn (April 18-20), Georgia (May 2-4) and Vanderbilt (May 15-17).

Additional in-state contests for the Gamecocks include Charleston Southern, Coastal Carolina, College of Charleston, Furman, Presbyterian, The Citadel, USC Upstate and Wofford. Other mid-week opponents include Stetson, Davidson and Appalachian State.

After the opening series against Bucknell, the Gamecocks will follow with a three-game home set against Eastern Kentucky. After the Clemson series, USC will play host to Brown (Mar. 7-9) before SEC weekend play begins.
