South Carolina climbed two spots to No. 3 in Baseball America's latest Top 25 released on Monday.

The Gamecocks (7-0) were 4-0 in games played over the last week, including a weekend sweep of Eastern Kentucky.

This weekend's opponent, Clemson (5-1), rose two spots in the ranking to No. 11.

USC’s 6-0 victory over Eastern Kentucky gave the Gamecocks a school-record fifth-straight shutout win, which broke the mark set in 1972. The Gamecocks lowered the team ERA to 0.86 on the season and now have gotten 51 straight scoreless innings from pitchers.
