Neil White’s weekly rankings of the SEC and ACC are a thoroughly unscientific compilation. No computer programs were used and no votes were taken to assemble this list of best to worst in the SEC and ACC.
1. ALABAMA (10-1)
Guess who is back in the BCS championship-game picture?
2. GEORGIA (10-1)
Dawgs also have dreams of national title dancing in heads.
3. FLORIDA (10-1)
Best game of the week will be Gators’ trip to Tallahassee.
4. LSU (9-2)
Friday’s menu: Leftover turkey -- and Tigers playing Arkansas.
5. TEXAS A&M (9-2)
The two SEC newbies meet in the regular-season finale.
6. FLORIDA STATE (10-1)
Seminoles are playing for ACC pride in rivalry game.
7. CLEMSON (10-1)
High-powered offense hopes to overwhelm Gamecocks.
8. SOUTH CAROLINA (9-2)
Can USC seniors make it four in a row over the Tigers?
9. MISSISSIPPI STATE (8-3)
