Melvin Ingram has been recognized by the SEC again.
Ingram was named Defensive Player of the Week after his performance in South Carolina's 21-3 win over Vanderbilt.
The senior defensive end was credited with four tackles on the night, including three tackles for loss that accounted for 24 yards, and a pair of sacks. He also broke up one pass.
He scored his third touchdown of the season, this time falling on a fumble in the end zone in the second quarter for the Gamecocks' first points of the game.

Ingram is tied for third in the SEC in sacks (two).
Marcus Lattimore received a mention from the SEC after he rushed for 77 yards on 20 carries and a touchdown and caught three passes for 73 yards and a touchdown against Vanderbilt.
A USC player has been honored by the SEC every week this season.
After Week 2, Ingram was named the Special Teams Player of the Week for his efforts against Georgia.
Offensive tackle Rokevious Watkins earned Offensive Lineman of the Week accolades for his performance in the season opener against East Carolina. Lattimore was named SEC Co-Offensive Player of the Week after his efforts in the win over Navy.
