South Carolina’s game hosting Kentucky on Oct. 5 will kick off at 7:30 p.m. and be broadcast on FSN, the SEC announced on Monday.
USC announced last week that the game is a sellout, in line with the Gamecocks’ other two home games this season. USC has also sold out the Florida (Nov. 16) and Clemson (Nov. 30) games this year, leaving just Mississippi State (Nov. 2) and Coastal Carolina (Nov. 23) as home games with tickets still available.
The Wildcats (1-2) were off last week like USC (2-1, 1-1 SEC), and host Florida at 7 p.m. on Saturday in their SEC opener. First-year coach Mark Stoops lost to Western Kentucky and Louisville but beat Miami (Ohio). The Gamecocks are at UCF (3-0) on Saturday in another sold-out game, which kicks off at noon on ABC.
The Gamecocks lead the all-time series with Kentucky 16-7-1 and have won 12 of the past 13, losing in 2010.
This Saturday's game at Central Florida (3-0) is a noon kickoff on ABC and also is sold out.
