Connor Shaw

The senior quarterback shook off last week’s shoulder sprain with a huge first half, when he passed for 211 yards and led four scoring drives for a 24-7 lead, and then led a clinching fourth-quarter touchdown drive.

Damiere Byrd

The junior wide receiver showed off his speed right off the bat by hauling in a 62-yard touchdown pass in stride on a perfect throw by Shaw to start the scoring. He finished with five catches for 98 yards.

Mike Davis

The sophomore running back continued to show his ability to pick up large chunks of yardage on the ground — 106 yards — as well as turn short passes into nifty gains, which accounted for 54 more yards.

Elliott Fry

The freshman placekicker made field goals of 40 and 41 yards in his first attempts since the Georgia game.

Jadeveon Clowney

The junior defensive end did not dress for the game due to a rib bruise. It’s yet another issue in the first five weeks after previous complaints of two stomach viruses and bone spurs.

Long drives

The USC defense couldn’t get the Wildcats off the field on two long drives of 75 yards each, one of 14 plays and the other of 12 plays for two of the UK touchdowns.

Bruce Ellington

The junior wide receiver fumbled a kickoff return that led to Kentucky’s third touchdown.

The fourth quarter

South Carolina was outscored 21-8.
