South Carolina ranked 14th in the nation in home attendance during the 2013 season, according to recently released data from the NCAA.
The Gamecocks averaged 82,401 fans per game at Williams-Brice Stadium, which has a listed capacity of 80,250.
USC increased its attendance by 2,400 fans per game from 2012, which was the NCAA’s 29th-largest increase from the previous year. The Gamecocks’ average attendance record is 82,614, set in 2001.
South Carolina ranked eighth in the SEC. Alabama’s average of 101,505 fans per game was highest in the SEC, followed by Tennessee, Georgia, LSU, Florida, Texas A&M and Auburn.

Michigan led the nation with 111,592 fans per game.
The SEC’s 14 teams averaged 75,674 fans, drawing a combined total of more than 7.5 million fans — a record for any conference.
