Freshman tight end KC Crosby was among those who did not participate in Thursday's Lift for Life event.

Crosby was on crutches with a broken bone in his right foot. He is expected to be healed in time for preseason camp.

Freshman receiver Shaq Davidson did not work out with an undisclosed right knee injury. He was not on crutches. Davidson tore an ACL in 2011 as a sophomore, and a knee sprain ended his senior year early.

Wide receiver Kane Whitehurst (foot), tight end Rory Anderson (triceps), defensive lineman Blake McClain (foot, hand) and tight end Jacob August (undisclosed) also did not participate.

Wide receiver Damiere Byrd (knee) and fullbacks Connor McLaurin (foot) and Jordan Diaz (knee) were full-go in Thursday's event.
