Gamecocks fall to 21st in latest AP Top 25

South Carolina’s drubbing at the hands of Texas A&M dropped it from the Top 10 but not the Top 25.

The Gamecocks fell 12 spots to No. 21 in the Associated Press Top 25 released on Tuesday. They will attempt to regroup on Saturday against East Carolina. USC is tied for 21st with North Carolina.

The Gamecocks have been ranked for a school-record 66 consecutive weeks.

USC also is ranked No. 21 in the USA Today Coaches Poll.
