Steve Spurrier was pleased with his team’s mood Monday when it reconvened after the bye week.
“I think our guys have bounced back as well as could be expected right now from another tough loss,” Spurrier said Tuesday.
South Carolina (4-5, 2-5 SEC) plays Florida (5-3, 4-3) Saturday at noon in The Swamp. Spurrier is 4-5 against the Gators since leaving the school.
“We will have our hands full, but we will look forward going down there,” Spurrier said. “They have always had one of the best defenses in the country and the conference. If you take away the Alabama game, they would probably be right near the top in most defensive categories.”
Linebacker Skai Moore (ankle) and tight Rory Anderson (triceps) are expected to play, Spurrier said.
