Former South Carolina defensive end Melvin Ingram will join other former SEC stars on the game show Family Feud, which is hosted by Steve Harvey.
Ingram will forever be remembered in Gamecocks lore for his touchdown run on a fake punt in USC’s 45-42 win against Georgia in 2011.
He will be part of the AFC Defense team. He’ll be joined by Von Miller (Broncos), A.J. Hawk (Bengals), Tamba Hali (Chiefs) and Malcolm Smith (Raiders).
The contestants are broken up into four teams: AFC Defense, AFC Offense, NFC Defense and NFC Offense.
The former SEC standouts are set to appear on two episodes on ABC, with the first episode airing Sunday ( June 26) and the second airing on July 3.
The NFC Defense will take on the AFC Offense on the June 26 episode, while the AFC Defense will match up with the NFC Offense on July 3.
The show begins at 7:30 p.m.
The AFC Offense team will be Jeremy Hill, Amari Cooper, Steve Smith Sr., Brandon Marshall and Marcus Cannon.
The NFC Defense consists of Thomas Davis, Tyrann Mathieu, Terrance Knighton, Malcolm Jenkins and Cliff Avril.
The NFC Offense is made up of Melvin Jones, Joe Staley, Teddy Bridgewater, Pierre Garcon and David Johnson.
