Was Gene Chizik’s desire to play old-school SEC football his undoing at Auburn? Here’s an argument for the spread offense and dancing with the one that brung ya.
While they are waiting for Derek Dooley to officially be fired, Tennessee folks are beginning to talk about who might replace him.
Speaking of Dooley, Vanderbilt coach James Franklin has decided not to jump on Dooley when he’s down. He’s not talking about last year’s Volunteers celebration video.
Nick Saban’s wife is mad because they lost. As for Nick, he’s trying to stay focused now that Alabama no longer controls its destiny in the national title race.
“Gurshall” – Georgia’s freshmen tailback duo – is actually pretty close to catching its namesake Herschel Walker in yards. Walker had 1,616 in his first year at Georgia, while Todd Gurley and Keith Marshall have combined for 1,598 so far this season.
