Don’t look now, but Georgia controls its own destiny for the national title . The Bulldogs are longshots, but if someone wants to print up a bunch of “Gamecocks 35, National Champions 7” bumper stickers, they’d sell like hotcakes if the situation arose.

In the next few weeks, Tennessee athletic director Dave Hart will make the decision that will determine if he has a job in the next few years . If his football hire works, he’s a genius. If it doesn’t, he’ll be an associate AD again soon.
