South Carolina is in the final six schools for South Aiken’s Tancey Richardson.
The other five schools are Colorado State, Arizona State, Maryland, Indiana and Kent State. Richardson had an in-home visit with Indiana on Tuesday.
Richardson said Wednesday he isn’t sure when he’ll announce his decision.
The 6-foot tall, 180-pound Richardson plays running back and receiver on offense and safety on defense at South Aiken. He has 1,320 all-purpose yards on offense with 68 tackles and six interceptions on defense.
Richardson has returned two interceptions, two kickoffs and a punt return for touchdowns. 247Sports ranks him as No. 36 in list of prospects in South Carolina.
Richardson was picked for the Shrine Bowl but might not play if the T-Breds make it to next week’s state championship game. South Aiken will play South Pointe on Friday in Class 4A Upper State championship game.
