Defensive end Roderick Byers of Northwestern had scheduled his official visit to USC for this weekend but after talking with recruiter Ellis Johnson he has decided to reschedule the visit.
Byers would have been the only recruit on campus this weekend so he now plans to wait on that visit.
In fact, all of his visits are up in the air.
Byers is scheduled to visit Clemson on Jan. 21, but he might go to USC that weekend, or possibly to Oregon. Those are the three schools he's considering, and one will not get an official vislt.
Byers does not have a favorite but said he could have one soon.
"I'll be a silent commitment but won't announce until after the 21st," he said. "South Carolina is recruiting me the hardest. They were the first to offer."
Clemson has not officially offered but Byers said the Tigers will do so if and when he visits there. He talked with Clemson recruiter Jeff Scott last week.
He talked to Oregon last Sunday.
