Tight end Jerell Adams of Scott's Branch made his official visit to Clemson over the weekend.
He was joined on the visit by his cousin Marcell Adams who is helping him with the recruiting process.
They arrived at Clemson Saturday morning and headed back home Sunday morning.
"It went well. He felt good about the visit," Marcell Adams said. "There was a lot of academic stuff and football stuff. He really loved it and they treated him well. We met with coach Swinney this morning for about 30 minutes. He just said he wants to see him stay in state."
Adams said his cousin left Clemson without a favorite in mind.
"He's going to wait until after the USC visit (next weekend)," he said adding a decision could come soon after that or it could be closer to signing day.
Adams also is scheduled to visit Arkansas Jan. 28, but his cousin said he's not sure if that visit will take place.
