Defensive end Jadeveon Clowney of South Pointe will make an unofficial visit to South Carolina on Saturday for the Kentucky basketball game, a source close to Clowney said Friday night.
Clowney will make the visit alone and will return home after the game.
This is South Carolina's big weekend for official visits, with 20 prospects scheduled to be in town. Four of those 20 are uncommitted: DL Phillip Dukes, TE Jarrell Adams, DB Ahmad Christian and LB Cedrick Cooper.
Clowney has already make his official visit to USC. He's also visited Alabama officially, and he canceled an official visit to Florida State for this weekend.
The source said Clowney is not sure if he'll make any more visits. He is scheduled to visit Clemson next weekend, and LSU also has been pushing for a visit.
Clowney has been going back and forth between USC and Alabama regarding his favorite.
He could make us his mind, the source said, in the not too distant future, but he doesn't plan to announce a decision until his birthday, which is Valentine's Day.
