USC commitment defensive end Mason Harris of Rossville, Ga., met Monday night with Miami head coach Al Golden and assistant Michael Barrow. The pair came to the school and met with Harris for about 45 minutes.
"I like Coach Golden," Harris said.
He will take his official visit to Miami Thursday night through Saturday night and he's excited about the trip.
"It's Miami first of all," he said. "I like the football tradition. I want to get down there and see what they have to offer. I'm 90 percent (committed to USC), but you never know. I'll see when I go down there. I'll get back and talk it over with my mom and know something on Monday."
Harris made his official visit to USC last weekend. No USC coaches are seeing him this week, but he did talk on the phone with USC defensive line coach Brad Lawing.
Last season Harris had 120 tackles with 15 sacks.
