South Carolina coaches weren't the only ones in to see South Pointe defensive end Jadeveon Clowney on Wednesday.
The Gamecocks' Ellis Johnson and Lorenzo Ward met with him at school and at home.
Clemson recruiter Marion Hobby also saw him. Clowney is scheduled to visit Clemson this weekend, and as of Wednesday night that visit was still on.
Alabama recruiter Chris Rumph will see Clowney Thursday. LSU has also been trying to get in to see him.
Clowney is also sticking with his plan to announce on Valentine's Day at this point.
A source said Wednesday night that "I think he pretty much knows where he wants to go, and I'd give USC a slight edge over Alabama."
Former South Pointe coach Bobby Carroll has maintained for weeks that Clowney is favoring the Gamecocks.
