DL Martin Aiken (6-3 248) of Bamberg-Erhrhardt was expected to take an unofficial visit to USC this morning at 10:15 a.m, according to his coach, Kevin Crosby. He has offers from both USC and Clemson and likes both schools.
"USC was one of the first to offer him so that was special," said Crosby. "From there, they started rolling in. He is very excited about Clemson and Carolina." Aiken also has offers from Virginia Tech, Tennessee, Auburn, North Carolina, NC State, Duke, Illinois, and received an offer from Texas Tech yesterday.
Crosby says Aiken has already been to junior day at Georgia Tech and attended a combine on the same trip. He plans to be at USC's junior day on February 19th and Clemson at a later date. He will also attend junior day at Tennessee.
Though he does not have a favorite, Crosby says he likes both Clemson and USC. "These guys look up to (USC OL) AJ Cann because they saw him develop each year and see how hard work pays off," said Crosby. "They also looks up to (Da'Quan) Bowers and what he has done (at Clemson)."
