OL Oliver Jones (6-6 300) of Ninety Six has offers from Clemson and USC at this point and is drawing interest from Georgia, Alabama, North Carolina and East Carolina. He has been to Clemson and USC for junior day visits and will go to Georgia this Saturday. He has no other visits planned after that but will check out some schools during spring practice.
Jones missed all of last season with a knee injury and is on track to at full strength for this coming season. He knows schools don't have good film on him so he wants to wait until after his senior season before thinking about a decision.
He liked Clemson and USC on his visits there and feels Clemson is recruiting him the hardest right now. Jones said he has no real favorite "but if I had to say, it would be Clemson, but it's not that big of a lead."
Jones said his family is not pushing him towards either school and it will be his decision. And he said he's not a lock to stay in state, but he does want to stay in the Southeast.
