LB T.J. Holloman (6-3 220) of Atlanta has offers from USC and Illinois and is hearing from Clemson, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Alabama, Auburn, Tennessee, North Carolina, and Vanderbilt.
"He just got back from a junior day at Alabama and they are showing a lot of interest," said his coach, Paul Standard. "He also went to junior day at South Carolina. T.J. said it was a great experience and a good time there."
According to Standard, Holloman is planning future trips to Clemson, Auburn, and Tennesee. "His step-father played at North Carolina back in the '80s, so he is also interested in them," added Standard. Standard says USC and Clemson are schools of interest for Holloman as well.
Holloman was forced to play quarterback by mid-season as a junior where he was 10 of 19 for 217 yards and two touchdowns. He also had 47 rushes for 490 yards and five touchdowns and had three receptions for another 40 yards and two scores. On defense, Holloman had 42 tackles, four interceptions, a fumble recovery for a touchdown, and two tackles for loss. Standard says he expects Holloman to play linebacker in college.
He does not have a favorite.
