PG Eli Carter of Brewster Prep, NH is headed to Rutgers this weekend for an official visit. He actually flew down to New Jersey today.
USC has been showing interest in Carter who said Gamecock coaches plan to visit with him next week.
Carter has offers from Rutgers, Virginia Tech, Iowa and Providence. Pittsburgh, Tennessee and Oklahoma also have shown interest. Carter has not set any other visits.
PG Anthony Hickey of Hopkinsville, KY has scheduled an official visit to LSU for April 24th. He also plans to set visits with USC and Dayton. The USC visit may take place the weekend of April 28th.
Gamecock head coach Darrin Horn met with Hickey last Sunday. "It went great," said Hickey's high school coach Kerry Stovall. "I know he was very impressed with coach Horn and coach (Neill) Berry."
Hickey plans to announce his college choice on May 6th.
