QB Reese Hannon (6-3 205) of Greer is hearing from USC, Clemson, NC State, and Duke. "The folks down in Columbia are pretty excited about him," said his coach Will Young. "I think Clemson wants to get a better look at him."
Hannon will attend several one-day camps this summer, according to Young. "He'll go to Carolina, Clemson, NC State, and Duke as far as I know," he said. "It'll give him a chance to show them what he can do in person. He can throw the heck out of a football." Young says Hannon will attend an Elite 11 camp as well.
Hannon suffered a stress fracture in his foot last season but did play in eight games. He was 147 of 278 attempts throwing for 1858 yards and 12 touchdowns. He rushed for 581 yards on 113 carries.
"He is getting a lot of looks but I think he would like to stay in-state," added Young.
