USC has offered PG Chris Colvin of Palm Beach JC, FL while Clemson, which had been recruiting Colvin for several weeks, is no longer involved according to his coach Butch Estes.
USC coach Darrin Horn and assistant Michael Boynton met with Colvin last week and will be back for another visit Thursday. According to Estes, Clemson informed him last week it was no longer recruiting Colvin because of concerns about some of his classes being accepted by the university.
Colvin is set on four of his official visits. He will go to Arizona State this weekend, Providence April 15th, West Virginia April 22nd and Miami on a date to be determined. His last visit likely will be either Pittsburgh or USC. Pittsburgh coaches will be in Sunday to meet with Colvin and then he'll decide on that final visit.
Right now, according to Estes, Miami has a slight lead because Colvin likes living in south Florida.
