WR Hayden Jones (5-11 170) of Orlando visited USC for a junior day with teammate DB Ty Law and came away impressed. "That was my first time there and I really liked the facilities and stadium," Jones said. "I liked the locker room, the weight room, and the training room."
Jones begins spring practice on May 1st and is expecting USC to be in attendance at some point. "They told us (Jones and Law) that they liked us but that they wanted to evaluate us more during spring practice," he said. "I've talked to coach (Jeep) Hunter and (Steve) Spurrier, Jr."
His father, Darrell Jones, played at Florida in the late 1970s in has a relationship with Steve Spurrier. Jones has a lot of interest in USC and South Florida. "I've visited USF several times and I really like the coaching staff," he said. "I think they're close to offering."
His lone offer is from Bryant. He is garnering interest from USC, USF, Central Florida, Sacred Heart, and several Ivy League schools. He says nearly 20 schools have shown some interest.
