USC and Clemson are among the many schools which have had recruiters stop by Henry County High School in McDonough, GA to check on QB Chris Moody (6-1 195) and DL Delvin Tomlinson (6-3 270). The Gamecocks and Tigers have offered both players.
Each is heavily recruited with Tomlinson holding over 30 offers. Moody's offers also include Virginia Tech, South Florida, Central Florida, Mississippi State, Vanderbilt, Indiana, Purdue and Georgia Tech. Moody is being recruited as both a quarterback and an athlete. He runs the spread and the zone read as a quarterback, and is a free safety on defense. He plans to narrow his list this summer.
Tomlinson has many of the same offes as Moody plus Alabama, Auburn, Michigan, Southern Cal and Virginia. The two have visited Clemson, Vanderbilt, Georgia Tech, Alabama, Vanderbilt and Mississippi State. Coach Mike Rozier said academics will be key in Tomlinson's case. He has not narrowed his list. Rozier said USC and Clemson are making a strong push for him. Tomlinson is a two time state wrestling champ.
