Hanahan WR Chris Brown spent last Saturday at a USC camp and he left Columbia with an offer from the Gamecocks. “It was pretty fun up there,’ Brown said. “I got to talk to Coach Spurrier Jr. and Coach Ward. They offered me as a receiver. It was pretty cool.”
Brown visited Clemson and Georgia in the spring. The USC camp was the first for Brown this summer and he doesn’t have any future camps or visits planned. That’s because he’s got a big track event coming up.
Brown is the #1 rated high school triple jumper in the country and he will be going to Eugene, OR for the USC Track and Field Championships.
He’s not claiming any real favorites but he said right now USC, Virginia Tech, Cincinnati and North Carolina stand out the most with him. He feels Cincinnati is recruiting him the hardest followed by the Tar Heels and the Gamecocks.
He’s not sure when he’ll make his decision.
