WR Jay Jay McCullough continues to work on getting his nagging hamstring in tip top shape for the coming season according to Nation Ford coach Michael Allen. McCullough has sat out all the seven on seven tournaments his teammates have played in this summer, but Allen is hopeful he’ll be able to play this Saturday at Chesterfield.
As for recruiting, Allen says McCullough has not narrowed his list. “He’s got all the time in the world,” the coach said. “He needs to focus on his grades, his family and his team. He’s sitting tight and concentrating on himself. He’s in a great position right now. He’s very humbled and very grounded. There won’t be a decision before the season. I would be very surprised.”
McCullough has offers from Clemson, USC, Miami of Ohio, Kentucky, Duke, Miami, NC State, East Carolina, Connecticut and Alabama. This summer he has camped at Clemson and has visited USC and NC State.
There is no leader at this point.
