Wide receiver Jody Fuller (6-0 202) of Monroe, N.C., announced Friday night a commitment to South Carolina.
Fuller made the announcement on ESPNU while attending a camp in Oregon.
USC, behind the recruiting efforts of Jay Graham, had been in a leadership position for Fuller since the early spring. Fuller also looked hard at Miami, North Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia Tech.
“They were the first school to offer me,” Fuller said of USC. “They showed me so much love. I’m just so glad that will be the school I go play with. They just have a good coaching staff and good people around the program.”
Never miss a local story.
Last season Fuller caught 77 passes for 845 yards and 16 touchdowns.
He's the 12th commitment for the Gamecocks and the second receiver to commit this week.
