One of the remaining top OL prospects on USC’s board will make a second visit to the campus Tuesday. Cody Waldrop of Seffner, FL visited USC in the spring. Tuesday he is coming in with his father and brother to “see everything.”
Waldrop is deciding between the Gamecocks and Georgia and said there’s no leader right now. But he did not rule out a commitment Tuesday. “It’s possible, but not 100% sure,” he said. Waldrop currently plans to take an official visit to Georgia for the USC game.
GA Mangus is his territorial recruiter but Waldrop said most of his contact recently has been with offensive line coach Shawn Elliott. “He’s telling me they’ve got to have me and they are putting together a really good offensive line, stuff I like to hear.”
USC is recruiting Waldrop as an offensive guard.
