SF Montay Brandon (6-7 195) of High Point, NC has named Florida State, Tennessee and Georgia Tech as his leaders. Early playing time is important to Brandon giving these schools the advantage for his services.
"I'm focused on these schools because they've done the best job of selling me on making an early impact," Brandon said. "They are the ones who have done the best job selling their program. It's very important to me to play early." Brandon named FSU as his leader.
His other offers include USC, Clemson, Georgia, Missouri, Cleveland State, Oklahoma State and Nebraska. He will take official visits to his top three and Missouri and will take unofficial visits to Clemson and USC.
"I talked to coach (Brad) Brownell this week," he said. "I like him a lot. I really like where he is taking their program." He did give the edge to USC over the Tigers, however. "USC is special to me because they were the first D-1 schools to offer me," Brandon admitted. "I'm going to get down there for a game. I talk to coach (Neil) Berry all the time."
He is unsure of when he will make a decision.
