DL Jonathan Bullard of Boiling Springs, NC will take in his first college game of the season tomorrow when he makes an unofficial visit to Clemson. Next weekend he will be in Columbia for the USC-Auburn game.
Bullard has one official visit set with Nebraska for October 8th and has not decided on the others. “I’m still holding with the same eight schools,” said Bullard who has Clemson, USC, Nebraska, Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Tennessee and Miami on his list.
He is keeping in touch with Clemson and USC. “I talked to Coach Swinney Thursday,” he said. “We just talked about the visit and how he’s going to be glad to see me. I talked with Coach Spurrier two days ago about coming down.”
Bullard plans to make his decision in late October or early November. Bullard said he has no favorites despite speculation USC and Florida are out front. “That’s just people talking,” he said.
Bullard will be at Clemson with Saturday with his close friend DL Carlos Watkins. Bullard said his decision and Watkins’ are not connected. And he senses a decision by Watkins has been made. “I know but I can’t say,” Bullard said. Watkins is set to announce October 14th.
