DB Jordan Diggs (6-1 194) of Cape Coral,FL was at Vanderbilt over the weekend on his second official visit and left Nashville with a good taste in his mouth.
"I was definitely impressed with Vandy," Diggs said. "It was very different than Nebraska because the SEC and Big 10 are really different conferences. The coaches showed me a lot of love and told me how I could make an early impact."
Diggs felt that first year head coach James Franklin has an attitude that is infectious. "He has an energy that rubs off on the team," he said. "The players and the entire city of Nashville believes in him. I think Vandy is going to be very competitive in two or three years."
His next visit will be to Tennessee in early November and then he will travel to USC for the Florida game. Both visits will be official.
His top four schools are USC, Tennessee, Vanderbilt and Nebraska in no order. "Also mention Ole Miss and Michigan State," he added. "I like them too." He is undecided on a fifth visit but said that it would be between these two schools should he take it.
No timeframe on a commitment.
