Long time USC commitment DE David Johnson of Lithonia, GA will sign with USC next week his coach said Wednesday.

Johnson made an official visit to Vanderbilt over the weekend and gave the Commodores some consideration. But Marcus Jelks said Johnson has decided to stick with his original decision to go to USC.

"He just felt at home there, felt more comfortable," Jelks said. "He feels he has a chance to play with a top ten defense next season."

Jelks added the Gamecocks are now showing interest in his junior linebacker Devon Wallace.
