DB Dominique Brown (5-11 191) of Ocala, FL has offers from USC and Florida International with interest from Florida, Florida State, LSU, Georgia and Tennessee among others. He named USC, Florida State and LSU as his top three.
Brown is not unfamiliar with the Gamecocks. "My cousin is Antonio Allen and he played there," said Brown. "When he has come home, he's told me about the family atmosphere and the coaches there. He said the coaches teach attitude and work ethic and that's what I'm looking for."
Brown will visit FSU next weekend and Duke the weekend after. He would like to visit USC as well. "I met coach (Steve) Spurrier, Jr. when he came to my school my freshman year," he said. "He told me all about South Carolina. Even though I've switched schools, he has stayed with me."
Brown totaled 98 tackles, several pass deflections and two interceptions last season. He did not name a leader.
