Defensive lineman Dexter Wideman of Saluda committed to Florida State on Monday night.
Wideman recently named a top three that included the Seminoles, South Carolina and Florida.
Wideman attended a camp at FSU last week, his first visit this summer. He was scheduled to attend Black Magic this week at South Carolina.
He was recruited at FSU by former USC running backs coach Jay Graham.
Never miss a local story.
"Coach Graham did a great job recruiting me," Wideman told Noles247. "I know I am going to go there and work hard. They told me I can touch the field a lot as a freshman."
