Junior WR Jerad Washington (5-11 165) of Jacksonville, FL has offers from USC and North Carolina. He committed to USC in July.

Washington received an offer from USC while attending a camp over the summer and has returned to USC for a game. "I love it there," Washington said. "I love the way it's set up from the city to the campus to the athletic facilities. I was there for the Kentucky game and the fans show up. They really love their team."

Washington has not taken any other visits. "Right now, it's just South Carolina," he said. "If I decide to take any other visits, I'll let you know."

He is hearing from Duke, Indiana, Wisconsin, Miami, Florida State and Florida International but is calling the Gamecocks his leader. "What I really like is my recruiter is Steve Spurrier, Jr. and he would be my position coach," Washington said. "We've built a really good relationship."

As a junior, he has 30 receptions for 400 yards and seven touchdowns.
