DE Taylor Stallworth of Mobile, AL committed to USC after visiting last June and that commitment remains in place, but Mississippi State remains a threat to the Gamecocks.
Stallworth will take his official visit to USC this weekend and will go to Mississippi State the following weekend. "Mississippi State is coming on hard," Stallworth said. "My commitment is still strong and I don't think it will turn, but I'm still keeping my eyes open."
Stallworth said his father will join him on the USC visit. "I want to experience how the players act around each other and I want to talk more with the coaches," he said about this weekend's visits.
Stallworth talked with USC recruiter Kirk Botkin last week. "He told me he's looking forward to me and my family being up there."
Stallworth had 60 tackles and 6 sacks this season. He played in the Alabama-Mississippi All Star Game and recorded 8 tackles, 2 for loss and a sack.
