2016 WR Samuel Denmark (6-0 180) of Hanahan received an offer from Wake Forest while visiting Winston-Salem two weeks ago. He will visit Virginia Tech this weekend. The Hokies were the first to offer.
Denmark was pleased with the offer from the Demon Deacons and was impressed with the program.
"They have a really nice stadium," Denmark said. "I like the coaches too. They seem to be really involved with the student-athletes."
Denmark likes both programs and does not have a favorite between the two. "They're both really good academic schools." he said. "And they both have a lot to offer."
Clemson and USC are also showing interest in Denmark. He recently spoke with USC recruiting coordinator Steve Spurrier Jr.
"He was checking on me and wanted to see how my grades were," Denmark said. ""He wanted to try and get me up there for a visit but it doesn't look like I'm going to be able to make it this year. I'm definitely going to visit though."
As for Clemson, Denmark visited Death Valley twice this season and likes the program. Duke and Notre Dame are showing interest in Denmark as well.
Through his first nine games, Denmark has 429 yards on 21 receptions with six touchdowns. He did not name a favorite.
