Class of 2016 USC commit WR Kyle Davis of Lawrenceville, GA, called his commitment "very strong," but he does plan to take other visits. Davis has not been able to attend any USC games this year.
"I wanted to get up there for game, I just couldn't make it," he said. "They're wore black jerseys this weekend. I wish I could have made it because that's pretty strong."
Davis has only taken one visit this season. It was an abbreviated trip to Georgia.
"I went there for the Vanderbilt game but I didn't even stay the whole game," Davis said. "I went up there just to see everybody...stuff like that."
Never miss a local story.
Several schools remain in touch with Davis, though he said Georgia hasn't contacted him since offering.
Davis has plans to take other visits but isn't sure where he will go at this point.
"I'm definitely going to get back up to South Carolina during the off-season," he said. "I'm sure I'll go to some other schools but I really don't know where yet."
Through eight games, Davis has roughly 30 receptions for over 700 yards and eight touchdowns. He plays on the same team as Class of 2015 tight end commitment Connor Redmond.
